Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Qview ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

Service Description

Qview is a monitoring platform for task queue systems including BullMQ and other supported frameworks. We provide near real-time monitoring for your Redis-based task queues.

Account Registration

To use our service, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be at least 18 years old
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

User Obligations

You agree to:

• Provide valid and accurate Redis connection information
• Ensure your Redis servers are properly secured
• Not attempt to access other users' data or systems
• Not use the service for any illegal purposes
• Not abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt our service
• Maintain a valid payment method for paid plans
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Redis Connection Security

Important: You are solely responsible for:

• The security of your Redis servers
• Setting appropriate access controls on your Redis instances
• Creating dedicated, limited-privilege credentials for monitoring
• Any data breaches or unauthorized access to your Redis servers

We recommend:

• Using read-only Redis credentials for monitoring where possible
• Restricting network access to your Redis servers
• Enabling Redis authentication
• Regularly rotating credentials

Intellectual Property

Our Service: We retain all rights to our platform, code, design, and proprietary technology.

Your Data: You retain all rights to your monitoring data and queue information. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data solely for providing the monitoring service.

Payment and Billing

• All payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
• Failed payments may result in service suspension
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

Service Availability

We strive for high availability but:

• Service is provided "as-is" without uptime guarantees
• We may perform scheduled maintenance with notice
• We are not liable for service interruptions or downtime
• We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice

Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for:

• Issues with your Redis servers or infrastructure
• Missed alerts or notifications due to email delivery issues
• Data loss from your Redis instances
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data

Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these terms
• Your payment method fails repeatedly
• We suspect fraudulent or abusive activity
• Required by law

You may cancel anytime by following the cancellation process in your account settings.

Upon Termination:

• Access to the service ends immediately (or at period end, based on your plan)
• Your data will be deleted within 30 days
• No refunds for partial months unless specified in our Refund Policy

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or violation of any rights of others.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
